2010 is going to be an uncapped year. There doesn't seem to be any progress on negotiating a new CBA.

OTOH it may just be stalling until the midnight hour--the last contract my union negotiated didn't get anywhere until 3AM on the day we were scheduled to strike.
Cap or no cap, there's going to be plenty of room to . . .

Extend Willis
Extend Vernon
Extend Franklin??

. . and still have some room to bring in at least one top tier FA.
Very nice job. Amazed that we only have $200,100 in dead money Niners have really cleaned up that problem
Just out of curiosity, how come Spurlock is still there, even though he was waived?

rutt roh, my bad, forgot he was waived and Keith Smith was signed.

Or I could of said it was a mirage, and you were seeing things.
Financially speaking, they really appear to have things under control. Now if that can only translate to the field of play.

Wow! With that much cap room, the 49ers could buy a SB team. Jed better be ready to open his purse. The natives are getting restless. Taking out their pitchforks and sharpening the guillotine blade.
