"smashmouth" vs "spread"

like i said before....alex smith shows he can play but the coaches need to hand over the team to him and his style instead on waiting to fall behind 20 points to let Smith turn into a gunslinger.

If Smith had the 2nd half offense to play with every game i think he can really take off with an interception here or there but more experience will work them kinks out

If Singletary wanted a smashmouth offense he should have drafted Michael Oher with the #10 pick. It just so happens that we have the right pieces to run the spread...Smtih, Crabtree, V Davis, weak o-line...etc. In the NFL it's about adapting to your strengths and the strength of this team and this quarterback is the SPREAD offense. Wake up Singletary. God I hate defensive minded coaches!

I know the I suck first half smith.

I know the I pad my stats in the second half of an unwinable game smith too.....


I also know the 140 yards passing but we won by a fg smith....




Who I don't know is this if I had five more mins I might win this game smith.



I'll be frank .....I don't like smith....I could spend hours b***hing...

But....this oc does....put both hill and smith in the right place.


The 49ers have been one more pos away from maybe winning what.....3....4? More games this season.

what would Smith's stats be in comparison to Rodger's providing we ran the spread the whole game. Rodger's line rots and yet he is considered a legit NFL qb and possibly a top 5-7......go figure
