Let them focus VD. That will mean they are not focusing on Crabtree, Morgan and Hill.

I don't think they can focus on him with those other weapons. whatever they do I hope it opens up some running room for Gore.

With Shaun hill it's a problem because he can't get it out to the WR

with Alex Smith we don't have that problem

Think about it from the other teams perspective. In the passing game Vernon is the only established threat. While crabtree and morgan may be an excellent 1 and 2 in the future they have not proven this yet so in the passing game it seems pretty obvious that any team would focus on VD in the midst of the year that he is having.

Great players make plays regardless if a team plans for them our not. How many teams planned against Tony G. or A.Gates, yet these guys continued to make plays. Even more recently you have Clark and Witten. If Davis wants to be considered great he needs to find a way to make it happen even when they are trying to stop him.

Yes I know the QB plays a big role.

Woodson and Harris are very good cover corners. Allows GB to have a lot of diffrent defensive options for Gore and VD. Expect VD to be doubled or covered by Woodson.

There rookie NT has done a good job and it is allowing there DE to get to the QB. He just destroyed the Cowboys OL several times last week

Going to be a tough game and Crabtree will learn a lot from this game

Capers is a pretty good DC. His defense will try to rough up Smith, especially with this O-line. This is the game where we need to run the ball and be careful with the spread. V. Davis needs to show up in a good way.

We need to run the football, and control the clock in this game. Let them focus on the pass more.

Vernon is gonna bust them up

I can see our boy #85 busting some heads already, Davis is due for a big game and the Packers are ripe for a beatdown, hopefully we attack and punk them out early.

I cant wait for this game
