Please dont botch this, Ninerbrass. Another year of conservaball with Alex Smith and Jimmy Raye, even with an improved oline, will not make us a championship team. We have a window here with some great players, both on the offense and defense. Our defense has renowned respect from around the league. Please dont ruin this window of opportunity with a little more of the same. We can make a big splash this offseason with players and coaches.

Z are you Jordan Tabor? Are you truly advocating a change in Coordinators again? What in the world makes you think that is any kind of solution? Unless we fix the Oline and Safety positions, unless we beef up the pass rush and find a complementary RB for Gore, any change in Coordinators will only push us back another year. There are coaches that need to go but Raye is not one of them.

oh, boy, here we go. Bring back the nostalgia, bring back the "glory days", bring back the coaches that made the team something. I mean, it turned out well for Washington, right?

I'm not saying that Holmgren or Shanahan wouldn't be upgrades on offense, but you're basically asking to start over again. These guys are gonna bring in their own people, their own schemes and the team will again be at square one. You would then be choosing to stymie consistency and growth with change where there isn't as dramatic need for change as there was in 04/05.
