Will We Be Running 'The Spread' by Season's End?

Based on comments from Sing and Raye, they really like the improvement in the offense with the spread formation. Also, they've stated that they will open up the offense even more as the season progresses. I see the number of plays out of the shotgun and/or 3WR/1TE sets steadily increasing as a percentage of plays as the season goes on. I also think these outside pitches to Gore will increase. Seem like a good play for the Shotgun. http://sfo.scout.com/2/918280.html

we'll get there, to much talent at WR/TE not to do it. it all boils down to Smith as everything does, he is best in the spread no doubt if he becomes ou qb that's the direction we will take.
