Yes, Crabtree needs helps next year. Morgan turns out to be a bum with no confidence. We need to stretch the field and a speedy receiver with reliable hands will do that, and rebuild the O-LINE in the of season.

Makes one question Sing's judgement thus far in benching Hill until today, doesn't it? Maybe he should take note and get Bruce out of there and give Jones a chance, doncha think?

I think Jones was signed as insurance in case Bruce retired, and well before we drafted Crabtree. At the time, one of those was a maybe (Bruce playing) and one was anything but a certainty (drafting Crabtree). Based on the info available at the time, the decision to sign Jones was made. He was playing well in TC until he got hurt. Next year Battle is likely gone, as is Bruce, so we would then need Jones (with Hill, Morgan and Crabtree). I would give Scott a pass on this one

Crabtree and Hill should start and Morgan should come in as the 3rd receiver. Hill has the best hands out of the whole group and runs excellent routes. he is also the fastest receiver we have i believe so it shouldve been a no brainer, im still trying to decide if any of the coaches have any credibility left for some of their retarded personnel assessments

Morgan, obviously, is not having a good year. However, it is way too soon to give up on him. Last season, when they were both playing, he looked better than Hill, and I'm a big Hill fan.

I hate to say it, but I hope Bruce is hurt bad enough to keep him out for a few games. What has become of Battle?
