The NEW and improved Vernon Davis

I'm so impressed with vernon's performences so far this year and his new attitude. I read that he met a kid named Joseph who had cancer, and talked to him and gave him autographs. He was joesephs favorite player. Joeseph passed away and the story gave me a whole new level of respect for Vernon. I wish Vernon much success and not only because I'm a niner fan.

VD is improving as a player and person, but he still has work to do. The penalty he helped draw last week with Josh Morgan and co was not the VD that Singletary wants him to be

I agree but this guy is a monster and well on his way towards becoming the best TE in the NFL. Minimum of 3 threads about this already to so IBTL

He's had a good first half to his season and is steadily improving. He's well on his way to his first trip to Honolulu and the Pro Bowl come February.

he has a ish load of td's for a tight end...i bet he will be in the pro bowl as a starter this year

My only question about him is his contract. Is he still the highest paid TE? if so do we just sign him again for a similar contract as his rookie contract? Even in today's game I still dont see him getting the star WR money, heck i have trouble seeing a TE getting half of what a star WR gets.

Yes it was. I think this was also the first time we've had a 100 yard game from any receiver this season.
