Yes, he surely deserves credit for what he's done so far. A smart guy and seems to have good judgement, especially on the key issues.

John York made a good move in getting lost and handing the reigns to Jed.
Aside from John signing the checks this is Jed's show to run.

It's amazing to see the difference once Jed took over.....he's following the footsteps of not only his uncle, but one of the best owners in sports history.
Good days in 49er land, finally.

I don't blame you for feeling nostalgic, definitely far from a dynasty, but Jed has built the foundation.
Singletary will challenge for 2009 NFL Coach of the Year. BOOK IT!

Above all Jed has confirmed three important things:
1) He's wise beyond his years
2) He's a passionate 49er fan
3) He's a tireless worker.
I was doubtful a 28 year old kid with John York's pedigree would be competent enough to run this franchise but since he's taken over I've heard him speak publically several times and been impressed with his confidence, presence and suprised by his breadth of knowledge on many different levels. This kid might just have the perfect blend of Eddie D and York in him to succeed. Yes, as much as we all love to diss J York, he has done a lot for this franchise since his bad start and has some very good qualities about him.
