This is another instance where I'd think he would have to be signed to get a cut of his jersey sales. How can he have a jersey if he isn't technically even on the team yet?

I don't know about Russell but I know that nobody from Crabtree's camp will ever admit to even thinking about sitting out the season. If he signs, he will go through the normal nonsense about how happy he is to be here and how he is just glad its done and how much he wanted to be out there. Nobody will ever tell the truth about the matter.

McCloughan needs to face some consequences as a result of this fiasco. If they are not going to get rid of him, then something along the lines of a 4 week suspension would be appropriate.

How is it his fault Crabtree won't sign? Every person that reports on this says the 9ers offered him a fair deal, so how is he to blame? He didn't know Crabs would pull this crap.
