I've been hard on Crabs....but the 49ers bear apart of the blame. I mean we have over paid for players in the past that hasn't done squat to help this team. They have the ability to up the offer....at least be able to meet in the middle....and to go weeks...damn near a month without any contact is idiotic............OH FOOLISH PRIDE!
Oh well.
"Overpaying" for players with a proven NFL track record is one thing. Overpaying for a 22 year old sophomore is entirely different.
Truthfully I don't even understand why fans care about that(It's NOT YOUR MONEY).....I do believe our track record for first round picks haven't been that great....with the exception of Willis and Peterson. We drafted VD #6 overall....was he worth that?? IMO No.
Regardless of what people say....this kid is talented and will be a #1 WR in this leauge. I understand people are upset but if you take the emotion away you will see this is a no win situation for either party. THE TEAM has spoken out and said Crabtree will sign so I would think there doing everything in there power to make it so.......just my thoughts.
Actually it is our money. We support these players one way or another.
And that's going to stop?? your going to stop supporting the team if they overpay for him? Some fan you are.....lol
You sure told me

Crabtree Considering Changing Agents?

There are several people in Michael Crabtree’s life advising him to change agents to get a deal done with the San Francisco 49ers, according to several sources. It is unknown whether Crabtree is 100% loyal to his current agent Eugene Parker and his stance that he is taking against the organization to get a huge deal.

The only reason for him to change agents is to save face, because he isn't going to get a better deal.
[WishfulThinking] Myae you're right. He wants to sign but doesn't want to come out as a loser. So what better way to do it than change agents, accept the 49ers proposal and blame everything on your FORMER agent?? [/WishfulThinking]

Please check your source and post a credible link. I believe that Radovich was signed to the Vikings PS, not the Niners. The Niners 8th PS spot is still open to absorb a Crabtree bump from the 53-man roster.

Isn't there a rule that if you fire an agent you have wait a certain amount of time before you hire another? How long?
