I can care less that we passed on Jackson. Did Philly lose to the Cowboys cause Jackson was held in check. No they lost cause they got owned in the trenches. He was the right pick at the time and when he gets a shot to start he will prove that he was worth the pick. People make it sound like he sucks. When he rotates in he holds the line and does exactly what is asked of him. I don't know where these people come up with this s**t.

I'm with you on this. The few times he has been on the field he's shown promised. He's had some pass rush and I believe tipped a ball or two, not to mention his mad KR return skills... But seriously, look how long it took for Franklin to come on. What about Soap? That dude came into the league with Alex 5 years ago. I wasn't psyched about the pick, but I dont think he will be a bust and I wouldn't doubt if he becomes a very good (not great) player.

For the record, the only reason I didnt like the pick is because he only had 1 year of really good production in college.

They did say he was real real raw coming out. I member Takeo saying hes only seen three people faster off the snap. Warren Sapp was one of the guys i cant remember the other two. I like Balmer.I remember how excited he was to be a niner. not just be in the NFL but be a niner. talking about BY and the glory years. I wouldve thought a fellow niner fan woudlve warrented a little more patience.
