Too hot to sit in those seats.

Nothing wrong with this statement. My point, don't criticize others who would prefer not to roast in the sun.
there is something wrong to an extent. He can do research and get seats not in the sun
Do you think Jed will ever put the money in for an overhang or something? This is getting national attention today
only getting attention due to whiners. You know how many stadiums don't have cover ? Ever sit in the bleachers at ATT park ?

I been to a lot of stadiums even the Hard Rock. you can't escape the sun on the visitors side and if you are in the shade it's still hot because that cover keeps all the heat in like a oven.

I disagree w/ you a bit. I've been to games at att and Candletsick in September. In the 80s temp wise, but when you're sitting in the sun getting baked its pretty hot. Santa Clara heat sounds WAY worse. I know you're hardcore about gogin to the games, and that is great. But if someone doesn't' want to pay for that experience (to be uncomfortable as hell and get burnt) I can't blame them. Wouldn't necessarily say they are whiners.

An overhang of some type would be nice.

my point was it's hot everywhere, at any stadium when you are in the sun. the only escape is playing later in the year or a dome. SC is not some mystery gateway to hell or closer to the sun than anywhere else.

No football Stadium in CA had a roof or canopy ever. Now that Trump called global warming fake, we can't blame weather changes lol i kid
Geez, I never knew the stadium design was originally meant for Candlestick Point. So when the Yorks decided to put it in Santa Clara the architectural plans remained basically the same, not accounting for what is overall a hotter climate than the candlestick point location. I wonder who the hell overlooked such an important detail. They should've been fired if they weren't.

Has this been verified? I know the Yorks are cheap, but damn
They would have had multiple variations on the stadium design through the years for multiple locations. I doubt what they decided on specifically in 2005 was built, though I wouldn't be surprised if the basic concept was the same throughout the process.
If they're really considering doing something to add shade, I think a retractable canopy system would work best. Run it from the top of the suite tower to the top of the lights on the other side.

All they need to do is put a small canopy opposite the suite tower. Should take care of 90% of the complaints.

That's why Eddie is in the HOF while Jeddy gets planes paid for by the fans flying banners quoting "accountability" above the s**tty stadium he built....
