Interesting diagram. You do realize that those open "holes" you point to are about 0.05% the size of the "hole" directly above the stadium, right?
It seems your acoustical analysis could use a little more refinement.

Yeah....the openings on the sides really don't matter. Unless this stadium was going to have a canopy like structure to bounce sound back onto the field, this was never going to be a stadium built for loud noise.
The best way to really get a loud stadium is for Niner fans to hoard all the tickets, fill the stadium to capacity, and yell their asses off. Acoustics are overrated.

KC competes with Seattle for stadium noise, and they have an open "hole" above their stadium too. Acoustics is a very misunderstood science. It can get very loud without being in a box.
