holy sh*t! 350 a seat through box office? those arent even ebay mark ups! imagine how much those seats will cost to buy online! 500 dollars a ticket for regular season games if we are good!

I want to see what is going to make this stadium different from Candlestick. Will there be seat cushions? cup holders? Wifi? better sound system? the big screens? TV's in the bathrooms? Is there a list anywhere of these type of little details?

Thanks 49AllTheTime....when I first wanted to get tix to the game, I was looking at just the MNF game against the Steelers. Out of sheer luck (or dumb luck), I randomly clicked on some checkbox to have a ticket agent contact me. I was contacted by them, and for the price of one MNF game, I was able to get the remaining home games, UR18, for the same cost. So why not, right?

Next seasons tix are UB on the visitor's side, mainly because I was a late comer and all of the tix on the home side were gone.

The jump is drastic for me too. Don't get me wrong. I dwelled literally every minute about it since the meeting with the New Stadium agent all the way up to the point where I sent in the paperwork. I even stalled a few times before hitting the send button! All doubts of every type leaped into my head...all the way from "its not worth it" to "i can't afford this". Naturally, certain things in my lifestyle has to change but I'm willing to do it. My personal feeling about these tickets isn't so much the price, as money comes and goes, but for what it represents. I have three young children, my oldest daughter is 7 and she's already recognizing teams. My youngest boy is 18 months. I want to be able to pass these seats onto them. My parents weren't able to offer things like this to me as a child, but that was okay. As any generation forward, we all want to do things and give to the next generation BETTER than what we had before. This is one of many contributions that I can give to my children. This is how I see it. If later in life they don't like football, then so be it. They can turn it around later on and sell the seats for more than what they are worth. Even the 'cheapie' 20k seats will at least retain its value or move upwards. Heck, we're in the middle of silicon valley....home to modern technology and more millionaires than you can shake a stick at.
