He's the greatest 49ers running back of all time, and its going to be a sad day when he decides to retire. We will never be able to replace him! And don't even try to say Hunter is an adequate replacement. You see him in pass protection again last night?

WTF? Mindy Bach on NFL Network just said Gore had x-rays after the Rams game again d/t his ribs. She didn't say "he's out" but it sounds like he's pretty sore/hurt. Hello Hunter! Screen these bad boys ALL game long!

I didn't say he was out but it sounds like, he's going to be limited against a tough, physical Beat defense so that means more Hunter and maybe, Jacobs (that part is speculation).
And equally important, sounds like he's got some really bad ribs that has actually gotten worse since he originally hurt them several weeks ago.
