Hey everybody, i just had a few questions regarding the 49ers on TV. I live in southern cali and during the regular season am subject to whatever marquee game FOX or CBS want to air. I was wondering, are the 49ers always on the local FOX or CBS channels up in the bay area? Also, is there a way to get the bay area local channels in southern California? (through direc tv or whatever). Or would it just be easier to bite the bullet and get Sunday ticket?
Side Note: I really wish Direc TV would have a plan to where you can watch your teams games and their games only. I think a lot more people would purchase sunday ticket if they could watch their teams games only, at a reduced price. I really don't give a rats a$$ about any other team and dont care to be able to watch every NFL game on sunday.Thats why i dont play fantasy football, because all i do is pick 49er players. I refuse to root for another team just because my a player from another team is on my fantasy team.

Hey Joey. I live in So Cal as well.
There is no easy remedy to watching the Niners in So Cal. Your options are...
• find a stream on the internet. Usually the Webzone posts links to streams in the "games on internet" thread
• go to a sports bar
• buy Sunday ticket
If you have a PS3, you can now get the ticket without having cable. So there ya go.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you have to download the NFL thing to your PS3. That way only that PS3 can use it.
