Well a quad isn't a hamstring (last year) so I feel better about that in a sense. I think he'll be OK the first couple of games, but like last year he started getting worn down during the middle of the season. Im hoping they spell him a lot more towards midpoint of the season, even if he's not injured.

I think Ford's quad and hammy will calm down this year - I see him playing all 16 games. Just a feeling.

Could realistically see the team going 6DL in 7 years in the 1st round again next year. Ford won't be on this team next year.

You realize the fan reaction if we take another DL in the 1st rd, fans will go crazy, we took AA in 2015, DeFo in 2016, Solly in 2017, Bosa in 2019, and Kinlaw in 2020, 5 1st rd DL in last 6 years. I honestly think Ronald Blair III can develop into a very very good EDGE rusher for us.

Personally, I think the fan reaction will be positive, Dee Ford is already getting leg dings - season hasn't even started yet. I hope he can play 16 games, but odds are against it, if you go back to his seasonal playing record. If they can get a quality edge rusher in the draft, they might be able to trade Dee Ford (specially if he makes some highlight sacks in a super bowl win ) Maybe squeeze out a mid round pick (5th maybe) in a trade and use that 5th pick to get a promising center. Oh, and that also should help our cap space to sign Trent.
