Exactly my problem with this whole horrific incident. With all the priors (and most in the last few years), how is he not in prison? This entire course of events would have been avoided if he were.

So true. Just young men being young men, but unfortunately they ran into an unstable person. as you get older you learn to just stay away from these situations. You never know what somebody has on them.

And in the case of a little nutcase like this, sure you might beat the crap out of him, but he will come back and kill you if he has the opportunity. Not worth it.

the thing that sucks its not like CJ's bro and his friend were just fighting looking for s**t, you know the typical drunk macho bs bar fight. They were just looking out doing what any guy would do and thats protect their friend who was a girl against a thirsty crazy guy who she repeatedly told to get away. Like a few already said, with his rap sheet no way should he have been out on the streets while dudes getting locked up for years for weed and petty s**t

If he's not in prison for whatever reason, he needed to be on house arrest or monitored somehow. His priors were all the worst types of crimes too, absent murder/rape and crimes against children. Well, he has murder on his belt now. POS.
