It will be difficult to do, under MA law none of the evidence at the Criminal Trial can be admitted in the Civil Trial due to Hernandez's suicide during appeal. So it will be very hard to prove Hernandez killed Lloyd.

Are you saying evidence of the conviction can't be used or all the evidence used at the criminal trial can't be used?

The latter sounds pretty harsh. There is no case if that is the law.

What you basing that off of? I seen s**t where the contract straight up says if you miss time because of conduct then the contract can be voided.

Contract doesn't say. "If you're guilty of a crime your contract can be voided" that would be dumb as hell.

Yes it will depend on the language of the contract.

Plenty of players have been cut just because they were arrested. Being found guilty isn't necessary to ending an NFL contract.

But we also don't know whats in Hernandez's contract. IE being arrested may be a valid reason to terminate the contract, but it may not eliminate all provisions of payments. Also even if his suicide-not-guilty ploy doesn't get his family paid, he still might have been his motivation/belief.

Criminals do some really stupid s**t, its not uncommon for someone to commit a crime thinking "they found the loophole!" which doesn't exist.
