This, a fine and community service at most. If the warrant has been shelved by the prosecutors then it probably means neither the victim nor the witnesses want to testify for the prosecution, especially now that the victim doesnt want to press charges. With the type of lawyers Brooks can afford the prosecution wont want the headache just to slap him on the wrist.

This situation does not need lawyers. it needs a "real" gesture. do something that no one is expecting from an NFL player. take responsibility.

Well, somebody dialed 911. So it might be that the situation was a little more out of control than what is in the report.
