Ron Brace might not be a bad idea as a backup to Dorsey.

Career altering? I wouldn't go that far.

Not a bad idea, I wanted the 9ers to draft this kid from the start.
Signing Dorsey turned out to be a stroke of genius on Baalkes part. The bad part is that Dorsey and Williams gave Mcdonald/Smith rotation in the 4-2. Now we just have Dorsey which I think can handle all the NT and some of 4-2 DT snaps. He has been doing really well in the 4-2. Generating pressure and he even got a sack tonight. He played in a 4 man front at LSU so maybe thats the ticket.

Wasn't Dobbs playing tonight? I think I remember seeing him.Either way we should try to throw a draft pick at someone for another DT/NT. I don't think Dial is going to be ready plus I don't think Fangio would play him. They could always run Dorsey full time at NT and 50% in the 4-2. Carradine could play the other 50% or split that with Dobbs.

Yeah I thought he was gonna be better than he's been. Strictly a space eating nose tackle but he was good enough to be on the Patriots for four years. Redskins cut him though.
Man. It just sunk in. Poor f**king Williams. Dude put in the time. He was a example of hard work paying off. Then Sweezy had to get all sleezy. I think it may be time to invoke the spirit of Joe Pecsi from Casino.

Dobbs played tonight but he's garbage. I don't think he's any better than Tukuafu but the coaches do and they know more than I. Is RayMac banged up too? I noticed he was coming out more than usual.

With us perhaps. He loses this season. We have 13 picks already with Kap Aldon Iupati and Crabtree to extend. Whose to say Dorsey doesn't win his job and we go cheaper with a rook. Iran ain't exactly Wilfork yet. He might not make it back with us. Cold hard cap reality bro

Can't, he is on IR, can't return.
Cheap way to lose out. This ain't NBA where contracts are guaranteed. They can rip it up over here

I think we should trade for someone. They're has to be a team with some abundance at that position. We don't need a pure NT either. We could get a NT from a 4-3.

Yes but vets are more expensive than rookies and we just don't know. What if it becomes a Parys Haralson Corey Lemonier type of thing. Or a McDermott Jennings deal. No vet wants to lose time due to this type of play. Too risky to put in the situation of having a tenuous grasp on a 53 man roster spot
