So who is supposed to know the terms of his contract - the person with the contract, or a Coach halfway across the country? Seems like the Titans should be suing their assistant for violating the terms of his contract.

Those rules aren't specific to an individual contract. They're just the rules period and Kiffin knows them. I think a couple of years ago when he was with the Raiders he almost brought down a tampering charge on the Raiders for trying to lure his dad away from T Bay to be his DC. He knew full well wtf; he just doesn't give a sh*t.
