If James and Black fail to work out then people just need to start getting fired because its insane for a team to blow so much draft capital on RBs and have so little to show for it.

Front office saw the boneheaded picks by our division rivals in the first round and said hold my beer.

I'll let receiver slide. They at least have some hits missed in there. But production verses draft capital invested- this RB list is the drizzling shyts.

I honestly don't understand how their board can be so different than the rest of the NFL. They are making ridiculous trade backs only to reach on players like crazy.

I was sorta hoping we would move lynch into some different role (PR) and let Adam peters become final decision maker on the draft. I was bummed when he left.

I don't understand how Jed doesn't snap on them over this. You're going to tell me that a RB you'll never use was the BPA?
kyle literally doesn't give any RB a rep with CMC.
Kyle would tell you, well we still need bodies in training camp, while looking at you as if you were an idiot.

nfl.com has Black as Rd5-6
Value means f**k all if the guy busts
Reuben Foster was great value in his draft....
No but drafting players ahead of consensus rankings aka "reaching" statistically has a higher miss rate by a healthy margin then not. That is a fact. Not even considering our own terrible history with reaching.

What a writeup for this kid... "He lacks ideal burst and utilizes too many stutter-steps in processing the run lane while headed to the hole. He's not elusive inside"

It's fair to judge 2017-2024 at this point. There's only one player on that list that contributed anything (Elijah Mitchell) and he was a 6th round pick. The rest were all busts. Jordan James looked good though. But yeah, why pick another RB in the 3rd round when you have bigger issues at OL?

I see why we cleared up all that cap space, thank god for free agency.
