Some minimal research will tell you that Jordan Mason was traded for the Vikings 6th and 49ers will probably get a 7th comp pick.

Tone definitely wasn't needed especially since it may not be accurate. I'm pretty sure the picks we've all been talking about have included projected comp picks.

Also...you don't get comp picks for trading players. I believe we received a 2026 6th round pick as part of the Mason trade but then used it to acquire Keion White. Because White played enough games for us the 7th round pick we could've gotten back from the Patriots remains with them.

So yes...I agree it would be nice to get some more picks but we'll see what the team does. I imagine a couple of trade backs for sure.
