Not a great list honestly. As you can imagine it gets worse the further down the draft you go. Maybe the best option is to trade the pick away for a proven player?

Yeah the pick itself hasn't produced a ton of great results but at the same time would the following look a lot better?

All players selected each of those drafts after pick 27. Obviously we know you can find great talent later in the draft - Fred, Kittle, Greenlaw are examples of that.

I actually think smarter move for us may be to trade back. We definitely need cheap, young talent to help us cover some ground and the more picks you have the better chance of guys falling through the cracks and turning into something really good.

Oh interesting I feel there a a or of good day 2 picks this day 1 picks are not that great especially after top 15 to top 20

that being said I doubt we would be able to trade down to just 31 unless a player falls that someone else just loved I do think a trade back into round 2 is likely as a team picking in top of the draft may want that 5th year option
