WR at #11, now that Deebo is gone?

Nope. Draft a stud TE and run more two TE sets. I think we go TE early.

I'll be shocked if they do that

Given that Kittle was a 5th round pick, I doubt the 49ers use anything in the top three rounds of the draft on a TE. I'm with Hysterikal and Ninerjohn: Trenches! Plus, a linebacker. Then, back to TRENCHES!

All i have to say, you don't need to fill every hole on the team in one draft. Even if tried, you will fail 99% of the time. Strength of the draft being DL doesn't mean you settle for the weakest of the bunch to prioritize drafting a weaker WR. If the team is worried about Aiyuk, go after Adams when he's released.

I thought about getting Davante Adams but Lynch has stated that they want to get younger. But still, they're gonna have to fill some holes with older players. If the plan is to win a Super Bowl, then you can't expect to do it by getting a bunch of rookies and second year players or whatever.
Hell no.

I know but I'm hoping for Amari Cooper signing a reasonable team friendly contract. Not sure why he would do that but it's hope!!!

Im calling it now Luther Burden.

Luther Burden is incredible, the more I watch the more I like him. I also think T Mac is a generational talent, watched his games with AZ and he reminds me of Mike Evans, but I think at 11 you gotta stay put and focus on trenches or a guy like Javon Walker. WR can be found after we address the foundational needs.

Yah he looks like the type of WR Shanahan likes, jet sweeps, YAC, he just makes plays all over the field.
If the blue chippers at OT, DL and Edge are gone, trading down and getting BPA and a WR sounds like a better plan. Can't see a WR at pick #1 no matter where the Niners are picking.

We were the oldest team in the league last year, that no doubt contributed to our injury issues
I love WRs but Ihave an issue with drafting them in the first round. They tend to be divs and often become holdouts or complainers. Wrs always think they're open and the number of targets often becomes an issue for them. It's why we often see some of the best ones on the free agent market. Every year we see teams releasing a top receiver because they're asking for too much or they already are making too much. We've seen KC move on from Hill. Davante Adams has moved around. Same for A J Brown. The Niners trde Owens. The list of good or great receivers that have been traded or allowed to leave is long.

For every Jerry Rice or Larry Fitzgerald we see 10 guys or more that are good for a couple years and then drop off. They play good one year and then bad the next. It just seems to be a common issue with receivers. I would prefer that the first round pick is used on guys in the trenches or LBs. Even DBs. Assuming of course you have your QB. Those guys usually stick around longer and don't usually cause issues on the team.

If Mason Graham and Will Johnson aren't there, would love to trade down and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick.

maybe wishful thinking but i don't think it's impossible. We'd be a pretty good situation from Coop's perspective IMO. I feel like he's a similar style of player to Aiyuk who just had an incredible season in this offense in 23. Coop being a veteran could integrate quickly

No. A WR ain't gonna keep Brock upright in the pocket. Gonna need protection for your new investment. And, a better defensive line will put the ball back in his hands more often. Very simple
