I don't recall who put together a pretty good list but it showed that OLmen who hit certain numbers generally go on to play very well. Puni and Kingston I believe both hit those numbers and maybe even Nugent who we picked up as UDFA which certainly leads to possibility that 49ers made that connection as well.

Could also just be strange coincidence.

That's very interesting, they are all over the 3 cone in deciding on WR's, so maybe they have found something. If so you keep leaning on it and taking these Day 3 guys on the interior, any advantage you can get, you use.
He's great but probably won't be there in round 2. We may have to deal up some slots. To earlier round 2. Or late 1st. We do have a lot of picks. So giving up a few is okay.

If Graham is off the board I'd be very in on this. Zabel could easily go before that though, so would need back up options, who you got?

I'm still sticking at #11 and drafting either Michigan DT's, you'll see when Grant smashes his Pro Day that more will be with me.

I don't really think there's another center worth moving down for. Zabel or bust

Totally different tier here, but i I think Clay Webb is the consolation prize to target.

Found the tweet. Unfortunately nobody who ran at the combine this year hit that mark :(

Though some could get it during their pro days.

He's a good one.

I think Jackson Slater is going to be great too. Perfect for our scheme

Yes. Brendel is a plus athlete. Also has a 9.94 RAS score. The physical tools are there.

Fair enough, but in that case you need to trade up from your 2nd, rather than down from your first, otherwise you don't know if he's going to be there and you have no plan B. Trading up would be tough for us as we need depth, but I'd be very happy if we'd already grabbed a stud at #11.

Zabel is a beast. The stuff he put on tape at the Senior Bowl was A+++

Would not be a shock to see him sneak into the 1st. I'm hoping we are targeting him top of the 2nd if he's available.
