2 pick 6s his last game. Has the speed to cover the slot and the size to come help with run support. He will rise above our 2nd rd pick.

Either this kid or Xavier Watt from Notre Dame would be good for this defense. Need better coverage at Safety.

I've been drafting him often in my PFF mocks in the 3rd. I think he's going in the 2nd now. Reminds me of Kam Chancellor.

Its a shame that injuries robbed us of fully capitalizing on just how big of a draft hit Talanoa Hufanga was. There's no denying that, when he's in the game, he made an impact, even beyond his individual stats. He was a punisher coming towards the LOS, and he had the fire and leadership that the team was often missing. But fact is, he has been hurt, he's not great in coverage, he misses too many tackles cus of bad angles and ducking his head just trying to light someone up, and he's earned a contract that I don't think we can afford at the safety position. And so, even if he walks in FA, with a young Mustafa looking real promising, I don't think we need a Kam Chancellor type at safety. Give me a Jimmie Ward. Give me Dante Trader Jr!!!!

I'm kinda liking Andrew Mukuba. Also not a chance in hell Emmanwori falls to the 3rd rd

I was really high on Makuba in 2022...had him in my 2 year plan mock draft from that year as an early 2023 pick. But then he had a down season and stayed in college. Looked great at Texas this year tho, and so I'm all the way back in.

I want to bring Hufanga back he's a playmaker. Think we might be able to keep him without overpaying considering he's coming off a down year do to injuries. Seeing how deep this class is it would be smart to let him walk. Think you're right about needing a cover safety.

Nick Emmanwori is a SS prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 10.00 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1 out of 1079 SS from 1987 to 2025.

Splits projected, times unofficial. Pending agis and bench, could be a new top guy!https://t.co/WDmbwaGk56 pic.twitter.com/53Vx9vR7dx
