Jordan Mimms - Fresno State

He is a bit undersized for the NFL attack at six feet and 205 pounds (some draft sites have him at 199 lbs.). His pluses, however, are numerous.
-Comes out of a pro-style offense run by Jeff Tedford
-Durable
-Runs low. Hits hard. Does not go down at first contact.
-Tough enough for inside runs, but enough speed to get around the edge
-Reliable. Does not fumble
-Excellent pass catching ability out of the backfield or on the LOS

Cons:
-Does not possess breakaway speed
-May not have the size or weight to handle the NFL game

This is the type of RB that Kyle Shanahan loves. He routinely finds them as late round or free agent pickups and turns them into stars.
Another RB. Do you think the Niners will take one with CMC, Mitchell, Mason and TDP already in the fold? Maybe as an UDFA, but I sincerely doubt they will spend a draft pick on a RB this year.

TDP should be cut, he makes more than Mitchell to sit on the bench.

You maybe need to give him a little time. Unless they screw up big time I don't believe in cutting rookies.

They cut Sermon.

Didn't Sermon just win a ring with the eagles?

Ignoring draft position, easily one of the two worst picks (the other being Joe Williams to me) for this regime.

I wonder if the size issue can be taken care of in a NFL weight room and a nutritionist?
