really missing some big boards. MadDog is busy with his son I guess, but there were other draftnicks with great boards too? maybe it is because we have to 1st rounder.

I think the fact that SF's first pick is one of the last picks in the 2nd rd the luster of the 2022 draft has taken a little bit of a backseat.
This draft overall is kinda meh not really any top end blue chippers like last yr. Some great depth and some starters that should be around on day 2 early day 3 which is great for SF.

Niners are obviously looking to get younger by using the draft and not invest much in free agency. I agree with NYNiner that it's hard to get overly excited since the Niners don't pick till the end of the 2nd round. Look for at least three offensive linemen, an edge rusher, a nickel CB, a Safety, a WR, a RB and maybe a TE. Niners will be shopping in the bargain bin, but they have always done well later in the draft finding talent.

I havent been as involved as i'd like and i think its just bc we dont have a 1st round pick to gush over. Usually by now i have developed my day 1 crushes but now when i look at various big boards I skip the top 50 altogether.
I dont know why it bothers me, its not like they ever draft the player i like in round 1 anyways.
That being said, i still love me some draft news. Can't wait to see who we pick in the middle rounds.
