3T probably isn't a huge need but Taylor is an explosive, high motor lineman that wins with quickness and plays with great leverage. At 290+ he played inside as well as on the edge. He'd be an interesting option in the later rounds of the draft and someone that Kocurek could definitely work with as an interior pass rusher to get after quarterbacks. #draftcrush of the day9 Demetrius Taylor, DL App StAt 6'0 290 I don't know exactly where he lines up but it will definitely be on Sundays. A lot of untapped potential here. pic.twitter.com/4DBanGuDat— Andrew Golden (@andrewgolden_17) March 2, 2021AppSt DE Demetrius Taylor often plays outside but NFL home will be 3-5T. Uses leverage advantage to hold up blockers, sheds to make plays. His quickness helps him beat reach blocks and track plays outside the box. Lacks elite measurables, but has a shot to make it. #SnapScout22 pic.twitter.com/hSXWyqoNUm— Chad Reuter (@chad_reuter) May 21, 2021

Not as much as 1T with Jones leaving. Taylor is not a replacement for Jones but he's a guy with the ability to get into the backfield and hunt QB's. There's always a role for guys like this.
