Van Jefferson is so fluid and flexible as a route runner. Keeping his pads down, selling each step with his upper body and staying explosive by driving off his in-steps. Clinic tape. pic.twitter.com/iv5D2O1CLK

Then you try to play off-man against him and he can snap down faster than most CB's can transition pic.twitter.com/qf9sFNQcy3

He is rapidly growing on me. It's between Jefferson, Hill and Mims for me right now.

That's one of those you can't help but let out a "oof" cause you feel bad for the CBs ankles.

Yup, We are not getting close to that first tier. Tee Higgins has been my favorite receiver in tier 1 for the past couple of years. We have no shot unless we move up for that tier 1 talent.
Trading down or staying put is our best bet. Someone has to drop with all these talented receivers. These three, the Niners can snatch. Of course it's early in the process but with all this wr talent. Someone has to drop.

Van Jefferson's route pacing is on a different level. When he's facing off-coverage, he's delaying his stem in order to accelerate before the break - gets the CB ready to open up and run while assuring Jefferson isn't on top of the CB before his snapdown. pic.twitter.com/DbZoSYlivd

Over a month ago, I posted in the receivers class thread to watch this guy and to not be fooled by the stats because they never tell the whole story.
Jefferson was one of the best prospects I watched this year play-to-play at getting open. I'm not expecting him to have lights out testing at the combine, but he's a guy who has the tools necessary to succeed in the NFL.

Possibly. This is a really talented class and with so many different teams looking for different things in the WRs they want, I'd be just as unsurprised to see him go in the 4th as I would to see him go in the 2nd.

How does his injury/surgery impact his draft projection?
