Who do you guys suggest , if at all ?? Its the weakest link on Offense, and a big weakness on the whole team-, "teamwise".

IMO they might target a top flight T. But, I get the feeling that they'll be looking hard at WR and any D position.

That said, I would like a beastly OL.

What if Joe plays 2 more years. Stash a 1st round pick for 2 years?

I think Shanahan/Lynch kind of follow a Mike Shanahan personnel strategy:
1. You can never spend too much on defense.
2. Shanahan is the offense. Prioritize giving him the weapons he needs.

I wouldn't mind an uber talented OL, but they've had chances to add to the line in the draft and have passed. So, I think it'll depend on how their draft board shapes up.

He's got the weapons he needs. Offense is rolling without two of them.

Sure. Guys can get hurt on ya play too.
Generally, you can put me down for this. We never seem to spend enough on our O line. There is one thing to bear in mind, though. We have 3 tackles out right now, Coleman Brunskill and Staley. I don't know how good the first two are and I don't know if Staley will return playing at his previously high standard. Hope so!

With Skule under development, if the team arehappy with the other three as well, why should they invest a high pick? It depends, really, on where they see these four by, say, next year.

Currently at guard we have Garland, Person and Tomlinson. In my opinion we just keep Person and get, by trade or high pick, another starter as well as picking up a couple for depth. Garland might surprise, I suppose, but I haven't seen enough to judge.

Richburg is the only center listed on our roster. With our current injury history it makes sense to ensure that at least one of the new guards we hopefully pick up can sub for him.

Our D line is superb. Job done there, I think. How much of a rebuild we need depends, in my opinion, on the team's view of Coleman and Skule.
Problem here is few players are fitting our scheme (or even get attention of Kyle Shanahan). Leatherwood would be awesome if we had a 2nd round and perhaps if LSU MaGee still be there on 3rd round.

Unfortunately Niners got to fill many needs / future replacements such as a caliber FS and SS, 3rd CB who play next to Sherman and Witherspoon,a better Nickel Corner than Williams, a RB since Breida be gone plus either McKinnon or Coleman get cut for cap saving while working with a low salary cap and few draft picks (1,3,4,5,6).

I mean I like the tackles from Iowa, Thomas is obviously a stud (the whole Georgia line in general).

Staley is under contract for 2 more yrs, not sure why we're trying to push him out here? I'm cool with a tackle that can play inside first (it's not always easy to do that) BUT I'm all about BPA if we're drafting 15-25ish. I also would like to move down and acquire more picks.
Depends on who's available in that 25-32 range.

I'd even consider trading out with a team towards the top of the 2nd for an extra 3rd or 4th and a 1st in 2021.

I'm with you on this. I see us going WR in the first (depending on how Hurd pans out), OT in the 2nd via trade up, maybe a Safety in the 3rd, and an OG in mid to later rounds. But I get the feeling that if Hurd pans out we probably don't address the WR spot, at least not early. Still, I do think that WR will be a position we look hard at.
Totally agree with this after seeing Jimmy GQ damn near get his head taken off in that Steelers game! QB can't make throws sitting on his tukas! Also hope if there is no #1 WR in the fold now we can find one in the draft. It looks like our 1st round pick is going to be pretty low in 2020 so it might be wise to try and find a trade partner to pick up extra, GOOD bodies that can be used in multiple areas (OT, OG, C, FS, CB, WR).

Just wondering how we would trade up to get a 2nd rounder. We don't have a lot of late round picks that we could package. You probably would need to trade a 3rd and 5th or maybe a 4th, 5th and a 7th. The only other way would be to trade a 2021 pick and that would probably need to be a 1st since we are likely to be drafting toward the end of the round. Second rounders have a pretty high value since it is usually the last round where you can get a player that has a high chance of being a starter. I know good players can be found later but I'm just talking about how the teams value the picks.

Good call!

Isn't it amazing the scumbag Patriots pick at the end of every draft and come up w/studs.

Sure, they have their failures but overall they get winners like Sony Michelle.

Overall we've drafted well, not great but better than many give credit to, and I see us continuing to do so.

I'm thinking we go OLine BUT depending on how the rest of the season plays out and who is there will be main factors.
