Agreed that Brown is the best we to pair with Pettis/ Goodwin.

Thompson from Toledo would be my top choice for a later wr.

I think you've got the positions for our offense wrong, Y is our TE.

Pettis is best suited to the X in our offense.

Slot is F

Z normally comes away from the sideline, either to block or fake to block. Typically played by one of our stronger WR's (Garçon and Bourne have done it a lot).

I highly doubt we draft two, but if we did my preference would be Brown or Deebo at 36 or Riley Ridley in the 3rd round to play Z.

Someone like Keelen Doss late on to compete at multiple slots.

One wr in the draft, in the 2nd or 3rd. No more unless someone they want drops ludicrously or unless they are looking for best value in the 7th.

WR is so strong next two classes (especially next year) but I have to think that they don't believe we will be in range for one of the top 1st rounders next year, so we might want to try and "finish" our WR corps this year, so we can focus elsewhere in later drafts.

That would be the direction I would go if we end up taking AJ or Deebo at 36. I would want a big outside guy.

Even if we were to take 2 WRs, I doubt we would take the 2nd WR back to back to the 36th pick. It would probably be from the lower rounds. If that is the case, then I doubt Butler would be available. Then, either of the 6'5" guys we scouted, namely Shawn Poindexter of Arizona or Jazz Ferguson of Northwestern State will be great. Poindexter is faster and more explosive while Ferguson is bigger and more physical:

Shawn Poindexter - 6'5", 218 lbs
Jazz Ferguson - 6'5", 223 lbs

Give Trent Taylor some competition since you can't count on his back injury. Ridley is gonna fall in the draft due to a poor combine. But I like the tape.

Boykin from. nD, and draft one of the Browns or one of the Butlers

If we're taking two WRs I vote for:

Hakeem Butler in the 2nd
Keeshawn "I am happy to share the damn ball" Johnson in the 6th

Put on a WR's highlight vid, if all you see are go and post routes with them winning jump balls, then move on, Kyle doesn't want them.
