This was my sleeper since very early in the process, but I see his name everywhere now. I'd be happy taking him at 36.
Like this kid a lot but CB IMO is 4th-5th need leading into the draft behind, DE, WR, S, G.. I'd be surprised if CB was taken before the 4th RD.

Idk what CBs you were watching last year to say it is not one our top 2 needs this year. Sherm was rock solid but after last year I have no faith in ahkello and do not wanna bank on Tarvarius to have a break out year.

Ok with the resigning of Ward and signing Verrett, AK looked better at the end of the year, Moore a year to learn and signing Ford and hopefully drafting Bosa which will mean the pass rush will help the secondary I garentee Lynch feels good about the CB situation, yes I understand Ward and Verrett you can't count on, but I'll bet CB isn't a top 3 need in Lynch's eyes..

Agreed. Which is why I think Justin Lane may be a later round target (If he in fact Makes it to the fourth round, which CBS says he will. I don't see him falling that far though)

I like Layne a lot, but I think he's a guy you draft later in the 2nd. I don't think he makes it to the 3rd.
He will go very early day 2. And CB is a huge need for us, and I say that as someone who is higher on than Ahkello than probably 95% of the zone

We have Verrett who, until he plays, should not even be considered as on our roster.

We have Witherspoon who I think will be a solid CB2 in the league, but he's certainly running out of time to prove me right.

We have Richard Sherman who is another year older.

We have Tavarious Moore who is a safety.

I like him a lot. I won't get mad at all if we get him with our 36th.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you wrote. I don't know if Lynch sees it this way though.

Ive already mostly moved on to next year's draft, and trying to scheme how we can get all of my draft crushes in that draft, and it's much harder than this one ): Layne very well may be BPA at position of need by the time our pick comes around in the 2nd, and I hope Lynch agrees with the need if that's the case
