Trade CJ Bethard

Cart before the horse. There is no pressure to get rid of him. Another year working on his technique is likely to bring serious benefits. Right now I don't think he would attract the sort of offer that would make it worthwhile.
Generally speaking we don't like to carry 3 QBs

So trading CJ seems pretty obvious to me

But if they worried about Jimmy's recovery then they should just keep him and carry 3
He has trade value? That would be a pleasant surprise to me lol.
Trade value ? Maybe if the draft was still 12 rounds!
No offense but I don't think we can get anything for him.
What's his value? A 7th round pick?
Beat-hard is only worth a 13th round pick
I would wait until preseason, hope he looks good, a starting qb gets hurt, someone calls us and we try to get a 3rd or 2nd out of him.
I say we keep him. This past year he was leaps and bounds above his rookie year. If he improves yet again- and we let it show- we can get something for him.

If not we carry him for a bit then cut him when we need a roster spot.

Dude has no value

Maybe Miami offers a 7th
Nobody wants Beathard.

Maybe, but we've never been in this position before with QBs. I'm hoping that all three show some tremendous growth so that the lesser of the three still has trade value at some point in 2019.
We can't get an 8th round pick for CJ. 😐
Maybe a conditional 7th
