Sell next years picks

Pretty straightforward. Would you trade next years #1 for a player like Demarcus Lawrence, Odell, or someone else?

I'd trade next years first for Lawrence assuming he doesn't hit FA. I'd trade this years 2nd rounder and next years first for Odell.

#1? Not for a WR and not for Lawrence with this DE free agent and draft class.

Very tempting, but I wouldn't do it.
No. Selling the future rarely works. Next year we will need that 1st, for one position or another.
The only time this makes sense is when you're at the end of a championship window and are heading towards a multi-year rebuild (the Patriots now).

We're still rebuilding and may not make the playoffs next year. It would be idiotic to give up future firsts to try to win now.
I would sell the future for AB, Beckham, or Lawrence. Give me proven talent. Also, I don't trust Lynch to draft well, so the picks might as well be useless

Lynch isn't a horrible drafter or anything, but I do agree we should move our 2020 first if the right deal came along.

This team would have a chance to add multiple elite players (#2, FA, and trade) AND have the return of their franchise QB. This makes that 2020 pick possibly a low first rounder if this ream stays healthy and performs like they should. Hell, if Lynch gets creative he can recoup that 2020 first by trading down if Bosa goes #1.

I'm ok with #36 and next years 1 for OBJ and possibly Lawrence for #36 and conditional 2-1 next year is better but not AB, too high for him( 3 this year and maybe a conditional 4 to a 3 next year. (What can Brown do To you rather than For you would be the better question. I really think Lynch won't touch Brown it's just too dangerous for him to pull the trigger on unless it's some ridiculously low draft choice which Pittsburgh wont do.

No, there should be a nice player at pick 28, guard, tackle, LBer, CB, S and WR.
No to OBJ. It's a very steep price to pay for a WR, even if it's clearly a number 1 receiver, who is already the highest paid receiver in the league. As for Lawrence, that's more of a possibility. Although I still would want another edge rusher, adding Lawrence would give us some HUGE flexibility with our number two pick. Allen at 2 doesn't seem so bad (put him at SAM) or we could trade back and still net some quality starters.

I'm pretty confident though (maybe too confident) that we will be okay. I was sure that we were going to have that number 2 pick and I'm pretty sure we will get Nick Bosa. If those two things happen, everything else should fall in place for us.

This was my exact thought. I feel these two players are such an elite talent. I'm betting we would finish outside the top 20 in next years draft or this is a bad decision.
I wouldnt make either trade, but I'm confused by those who wouldnt trade a first for a top DE, but would trade a 1st AND a second for a WR..

My thoughts were that Lawrence has already been tagged so Dallas might take what they can get.
Can we sell Jed instead?
How about the team SPEND the millions they have under the cap to bring in FA's. They also might be able to buy one of the raiders first round draft picks for a player plus cash. Remember the Raiders owners need money, sending millions for a draft pick would be worth it to me.

I do not want to see 40-50 million in cap space not going to work. Either re up some players worth signing to long term deals or get some via FA
