Another pass rushing prospect who hasn't generated much talk here that needs some discussion is FCS Sack Leader Derick Roberson of Sam Houston State. A transfer from Texas with a well-built frame, checking in around 6-3 250. Currently has 12.5 sacks and has used a variety of moves to accumulate them. Speed rush, bull rush, rips, swims, and spins all in the arsenal. Figures to take some time to adjust to the NFL level coming from a smaller program, but would make a terrific SAM or LEO option for a team looking around the middle rounds, barring a meteoric rise this off-season.. Combine/Pro-Day will be key on which position might be more ideal for him, especially when the numbers come out on arm length. Many expect him to get an invite to the Senior Bowl so it's possible we could all get an extended look at him there.

Got any highlights of this guy? At least the pool of edge rushers is deep in this draft. The Niners need to double up in either free agency or the draft on the pass rush.
