As much as it sucks, this isn't remotely close to as bad as when we f**ked ourselves out of the Myles Garret pick.
Bosa and Williams are both blue chip players. Williams is a luxury pick but you could easily argue he's the better AND safer player. Hopefully Cards go Williams, we go Bosa and rest is history.

Agreed. The drop off between 1 and 2 isn't nearly as huge this year.
That's why it's good we didn't fall to #3.

My bigger thing at 2 if Bosa goes at one is the trade down option....hopefully via Haskins getting his stock super high or even better someone moving up with Zona so we can have Bosa at 2.

if a TON of QB skyrocket it will weaken our position as those who think about a trade to #2 wont be as desperate because there would be more than one QB in your scenario who could help them.
If there is only ONE QB everyone wants to sell the house for...well...this generates desperation and high prizes.

Same here... if the value is there (ie. if we could stay inside top 10 and get a 2 and 1 next year). What's nice about Williams is he gives us a legit option in case the Haskins rise doesn't happen (or he doesn't declare which would be straight stupid).
