There is nothing wrong with posting about individual players. That is what the DWR is all about. However, at some point, when someone is very enthusiastic about a certain player, it would better serve the purpose of an "engaging conversation" to make some statement about the 49ers in connection to that player, ie. do you see that player as a 49er, or would he be a value at a certain draft slot, etc. After all, that is the main purpose of this site.

Ok I'll be the one to have fun... It's not cool though that I always thought he was the best defensive player in the draft and some made it out to be about me and Michigan...

If I wasn't a Michigan fan would it have made a difference? I think so.. Sometimes I am too honest I guess... I should have never said anything about Michigan..

I started the thread because I thought he was the best asset for the niners but if the cons are too much for you guys it's cool... You cannot continue to deflect I told you about his job duties though and not many took me serious and conveniently call me a homer or excuses because you didn't like the answer at the time.. It's cool though.

The tackle did look like he was standing still... That's where his speed comes into play and the 6th-7th gear he has... That No other defensive lineman has.. The argument was that tackle isn't nfl material.... Yet I haven't seen a dlineman blow by a tackle like that in a while with that speed... I sure as hell haven't seened it in this draft.. 6-7th gear ⚙️.... That no one has in this class.... Not compared to him at least...

Size/Speed/Weight don't come around very often.... All he needs is to add another move, a spin move like Freeney was saying imho.... A coach can fix that... He has great paws 🐾... He has the club, his has the stiff arm to the shoulder move..

But can a coach fix or teach Size/Speed/Weight????? Generational talent. I have been saying it consistently.

Well I don't count myself as one of his harshest critics, and I hate the combine.

However to play devils advocate a good 3 cone time would go a long way to making me feel better about him developing to a good edge rusher, still don't think I take him at #2 though.

I think you are right.. I have been seeing alot of noise from the Raiders in regards to him. If he gets back with Maurice Hurst.. Watch out for that Raider defense.

Pairing him with Maurice Hurst, wrecking havoc in the middle and Rashan Gary at Edge would be huge for them. Watch out Patrick Mahomes....

No more dancing in the backfield for him in that division.. I wanted him because we have our own mobile Qb issues in our division.

Russel Wilson.

Rashan was in a deep DL rotation as a freshman & had a very good sophomore season. Then an injury plagued junior year. It's not fair to call his college career disappointing.

There are more misinformed people out who do not know about his job duties, double and the triple teams so many talk about yet I haven't seen from other prospects, the depth during his freshman year, his injured shoulder junior year....
