This...Denver suffered some injuries today. Who knows what happens with 3 home games.

And they still beat the snot out of cinci (whom the raiders have to play still). You see thar team SF is putting out there? I can't see a win happening.

Who were the new injuries suffered by the Broncos yesterday?

The lost Chris Harris to a broken leg. That's the major one.

That actually is a big deal. They still have that Miller guy, though, right?

Yeah still got the chicken farmer and Bradley Chubb and Shaq Barrett and Shane Raye and Jeff Holland and that's just the edge rushers.

If we miss on Bosa I'm trying to trade down hard for Allen or polite

He's top 5. Maybe top 3.
Changed my mind. I'm all in on Bosa. Team still needs to look for a pure leo type edge rusher to finish out the line whether it's in draft or fa.

Top 5 overall? Or top 5 among edge rushers?

If Allen blows up in the offseason he could go Top 5 overall. I think he's a much better overall prospect than Bud Dupree who also came out of Kentucky and went in the later part of the 1st round. For 3-4 teams especially, Allen is going to provide a ton of value with his ability to rush the passer, play coverage and stop the run.

Top 5 overall. I don't know that this is even a stretch anymore. MAYBE Allen drops out of the top 5 if two top QBs declare. Don't see how he's not a top 5 talent if Haskins is the only viable QB.

Bosa
Q. Williams
Oliver
J. Williams
QB

I'm guessing that is likely to be top 5 but Allen can certainly find a way to crack that if a team has edge rusher as their biggest need.

Edge rusher is a more premium position. Just hard to see an elite, athletic edge rusher not drafted in the top 5. Particularly one that can play in either a 3-4 or 4-3.

In reality -- Allen gets pushed ahead of a few of those guys for the same reasons QBs get pushed up. People need them more than any other spot on the field, as our current season can attest.

Football Outsiders odds for the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft now trend heavily in the 49ers' favor:

1: 49ers - 58.8%
2: Raiders - 23.3%
3: Jets - 11.5%

The Ohio State edge defender has led all FBS defensive linemen in pass-rush win rate each of the past two seasons.

f**k Bosa, how is he the hands down favorite to go number 1? He's coming off an injury and refused to play this season, is that not a huge question mark for anybody? No thanks I've had more than enough of these red flag players

What red flags? Because the guy refused to rush his rehab and risk his future professional career over something he is being paid zero for?

After Jaylon Smith and some of these other dudes potentially wrecking their future careers playing in meaningless games, what exactly was the upside for Bosa to return? He's been the #1 prospect for over a year now.

He's got 29 games worth of film showing why he deserves to be the hands down #1 pick. There was absolutely nothing to gain for him to rush back to play in a pointless bowl game.
