I think those odds are too high on Ward. He doesn't have the size we're looking for from our outside CB's.

Yup. Of course s**t could go wrong with Sherman but if you're assuming Sherman will be fine then it makes sense to fix other positions on d. Why would you bench Williams or Spoon?

Salary aside I love Ward as our jack of all trades backup at outside CB/S. He's also our starting dime backer at the moment. Will challenge Kwaunn for nickle snaps also could be in the mix for a big nickel package.

Exactly. We have better options and depth at DB than anywhere else. I don't get why the talk of us going DB.

I wouldn't be unhappy if we went LB,LB, OG, LB, CB...if Edmunds is gone. I hope we traded back in that scenario, and shoot for a pick in the 20s, 30s, 40s, to go its our 59th and 70th ,74th. That would roughly be a pick every time 10 picks or so from the talent rich, #9 to #59. If we get landry or edmunds, i still would like us to move up into 30s, 40s.
