If we trade #23 and #59 we could move up to #15. So we could potentially have #15 and #31. I know this far fetched from happening but that would the balls if it did.

Would do that in a heart beat. Try to trade down a bit from #23, add some more picks, take Wynn or Hernandez. Draft Evans and Obo also.
That's right around where DJ Moore should go.
Since they're in a giving mood make them throw in their own 2nd rounder.

I could be ok with it but options at 23 and 31 aren't as exciting as we'd be looking at 9.

Can pretty much say goodbye to Landry, Smith, Edmunds, Ward, Fitzpatrick, James, Nelson, Davenport...etc

If I'm doing it I'm targeting Jaire Alexander and LVE and hoping Sweat is around in the 2nd with Braden Smith or Frank Ragnow in the 3rd.

Damn auto-correct.
All I know is if we make this trade I'll pray to every god out there that all the people claiming Landry will be drafted later were right.

Landry and LVE/Jaire Alexander/Evans/Wynn/Hernandez and I'll need a change of pants.
Draft keeps getting more and more interesting. Love it.
We don't need the diva; we need Quenton Nelson. We give JimmyG more time, his quick release becomes unstoppable.
Belichek going edge, CB then Kyle Lauletta

I'm confused at who they'd take at 9 QB wise, Allen, Rosen, Darnold, and Mayfield will/should all be off the board by then. I'd make the move, then trade back up, down, etc... I guess it really depends on how the picks go. It's what makes the draft so fun, and makes mock drafts frustrating, and in the end, useless, cause it's too hard to predict trades in a mock.
grab dj moore and wynn that would be an amazing start to the draft imo. But this could only be true if a qb they really like is still there at 9 (reported that they really like Rosen).
I would rather have those 2 picks by far compared to one pick at #9. This team has lots of holes. Not just 1. Jimmy G just masked a lot of our problems.
No one is worth trading up for at 9 for the pats. Much more likely they draft Lauretta or Mike White (that his name?) later and they end up being the best QB in the class.

Would do this trade in a heartbeat as well. Evans and Wynn would be my targets. (Landry would be long gone)
I don't expect the Pats trade up in the top 10. It doesn't feel very Belichickian.

But if they do intend to target a QB this year, they most likely have to move in to the top 15 (or 10) to get their guy. By #23, I expect 5-6 QBs to be drafted already.

I see Darnold (Browns), Mayfield (Jets), Rosen (Broncos), Allen (Bills), Rudolph (Cardinals) gone, possibly Jackson (Chargers?) as well.

Lynch is going to be fielding a lot of calls for the #9 pick!
