I don't expect us to make any trades prior to the draft.
What draft day trades do you think the Niners will deal? Do we have enough ammo to trade up from our late 2nd pick? Trade down from 9?
For me, I am hoping for the later. I think the key to us trading down from 9 will be the Giants Pick at 2. Giants could go with Chubb given the void left by Pierre-Paul, but they also could get an understudy to Eli for a year or two. If Giants go QB at 2, it likely means that the top 4 QBs will go before the Colts @6. If one of the four are still available at 6, one would think that Bills or Cardinals would trade with the Colts for that spot. However, if the top four are gone, the price will be quite steep to trade up for Lamar Jackson. Bucs and Bears probably won't want to trade back with all their holes, leaving the Niners @9 as the best trade-back option for Bills and Cards. Paraag needs to work the phones and pitch those two against each other. I don't think we would get Bills 22nd Pick but we can grab one of their 2nd Rounders.
What do you think? Plausible?

There's a few scenarios i can see.
I can see a trade BEFORE the draft. From 9 to 22 to give Buffalo 9th and 12th. If a team Buff is trying to trade up with is adamant about staying in the top 10. 9 and 12 could easily get them to #2 or #4.
I can see a team wanting to trade up for Edmunds or Smith. Especially if one is gone by our pick.
I can see a team trading up fir Nelson if he is still there.
My dark horse trade down..... the Saints trading up from 27th to 9 to select Mayfield. With them hitting on their picks last year it affords them the oppurtunity to give up a couple 1sts+. My research also shows the saints have traded up in the past 3 drafts (rounds very but aggressive nonetheless)
