You have them or you don't and if you don't then you'd better be a film studying fiend, putting in twice as much time as other guys.



Instincts aren't some mystical quality either, you're largely talking about high mental processing ability combined with being able to function at a high level while under under the gun.


That stuff is innate. It can be fine tuned a bit but if you're lacking in these areas then you will always be behind the 8 ball somewhat, always guessing rather than reading and reacting quickly. Can't polish something that isn't there to begin with.

Love Chark. I think in the right scheme he is going to absolutely blow up. He's the type of dude Pittsburgh drafts after every other team has passed on them, who then goes on to tear up the NFL.

I dont get it...whats not to like about Taylor? Dude caught almost everything thrown his way and was one of the top rookie wide recievers.

Taylor was a late pick and did nothing to disappoint in his rookie season. He's only going to get better as he gets more comfortable in our offense. You could see the chemistry developing between him and Jimmy after Jimmy took over and I expect that to continue into next season.

This. Taylor also has developed a rapport with Garoppolo. Not sure how you can complain about him when he outperformed the vast majority of receivers taken in front of him. The guy simply gets open.
