Hopefully Foster doesn't get injured during the coin flip?

LOL. He probably will if he is there. The coin flip takes place at the combine and he hasn't been too lucky there.

No worries he won't be there. He'll argue with the guy flipping the coin and be sent home before anything physical happens

All this is too funny
The coin flip just happened!!! Here's a pic from the coin flip to determine the ninth overall pick...
Apparently the Niners are bad at the coin flip. We're for sure picking at #10

For those that don't care about picking 1 pick behind the Raiders, disregard this post.

Whether we win or lose the coin flip, the Raiders and Niners will be alternating picks in each round. However, we traded away our 2nd for Jimmy G, our 4th for Kapri Bibbs, and our 5th and Vance Mcdonald for Pittsburgh's 4.

You can look at this one of two ways. Either the coin flip is not as important because it only affects 4 of our picks. Or, It's really important because if we lose we don't get to draft in front of the Raiders with our own pick (we have the Bears 3rd and the Jets 5th) until the 6th round.

What is the lost draft capital of picking 1 pick later in the 1st and 3rd round without having the 2nd and the 4th to offset it? According to the draft value chart, it is equivalent to having an extra pick in the beginning of the 4th round. Just FYI, And another thing to look forward to in the end of February.

It is very important, I was thinking about the scenario(s) as well with us not having our own 2nd and 4th rd picks. We need to win this coin flip. I also think if the Raiders pick ahead us, Jon Gruden will fall in love with Quentin Nelson and snag him right before us

With 2 of the highest paid guards in the league already on their roster?

They'll definitely go BPA (probably on defense, unless a top 8 player falls, i.e. Barkley).
