That be funny if it was due to watching Davenport who should be on our radar as well.
Nice prospect
I scouted Davis earlier this year, I like him a lot, when I watched Marcus Davenport's tape I couldn't help but look and see Devron Davis making plays.

I have Davis as a early 4th rd pick right now, & I can see him going day 2. A lot of good smaller school prospects out there.

I watched Davis against Texas A&M from 2016 he shut down Josh Reynolds, did a great job, IMO, his coverage skills helped the UTSA's front 7 get pressure on the QB. I'd love both Davis and Davenport come draft weekend.

Reynolds is solid too no? Definite fan of taking team mates lets add the LB from Alabama too. Evans i believe is the name
everyone needs to stop pumping him up we need him there in the 4th.

Bleacher Report's Michael Felder tabbed UTSA CB Devron Davis as a "criminally underrated" draft prospect.

Felder notes that the 6-foot, 210-pound Davis -- a former running back -- is a versatile, aggressive defensive back. Early in the draft process, he's been working with Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson to tighten up his footwork and eye discipline. His work in athletic testing this winter-into-spring will be pivotal for his draft slot as he tries to work his way toward a Day 3 selection. The cousin of Vontae and Vernon Davis, as well as Chiefs CB Steven Nelson, Davis has spoken with the Rams, Vikings, and Patriots multiple times during the early draft process. He could potentially see work as either a corner or safety at the pro level.
Apparently a lot shorter than previously advertised at 5095. 208 lbs with 32-1/2" arms, though.
No Combine invite. Will have to blow up at his Pro Day.
I'm thinking a position to change to safety. Really interested in his 40 time, personally. Still bummed about his height.

Didn't know Vernon was his cousin
