Uchenna Nwosu, SAM, USC

This guy is no hidden secret, but figured we should start a discussion on him as he can be a realistic draft target for the 49ers. First things that jump out: motor, and ability to bend, dip, and flatten.

I watched him against Stanford and was impressed, he got some good pressure and played the run very well, I also saw him drop in coverage. He looks like a very good SAM prospect for us, doesn't completely excel in any area but competent in all

This kid can play, 6'2 which could keep him in the mid rounds, but he just has it. One of the only prospects I've seen at SAM who could crack all downs day 1

Very solid player, pretty impressive tonight against a good OSU squad. Ideally he's in a 3-4 but I think he could play in our scheme.

SAM is pretty much exactly the same role as a 3-4 OLB.

I watched almost every USC game this year because of Darnold and ROJO and this dude made plays in all of them. I'd be happy if we got him, he's already better than Harold and is an alpha dog leader of the USC defense. Curious what round he ends up going in because I know he'll blow teams away in meetings. I'd say 2nd

2nd is my guess as well

Seems like a few SAMs are emerging to be considered in late 1st/2nd. Good news.
