49ers need to decide soon what they're doing with pick No. 34

#34 is the perfect spot to trade back or keep depending on the players that fall out of the first round and how they fit our draft board.

Sounds like a lot of good players are going to fall out of the first, through no fault of their own, which is great for the teams at the top of the second. Might be able to make a trade there too

Weird how the number 34 pick feels a lot 'better' than the number 2 pick. Feels like there's no perfect option for the latter but so much to choose from in the start of the second.

Seems like Edge/LB way to go with #34 pick. So many options, possible Charles Harris, TJ Watt, Jordan Willis, Jarred Davis, Tak McKinley, Zach Cunningham,Taco Charlton, Tom Williams (all could go in lower RD1), Tyus Bowser, Ryan Anderson, Derek Rivers, Duke Riley (all should be on the board at #34 pick). My preference is either Jordan Willis or Tyus Bowser with the 34th.

Indeed. In a perfect world..... CLE would want #2 bad enough to give up #12 #33 #50.

That right there would (should) Jumpstart our rebuild pretty damn quick.

However, if we learned anything. It's that this isn't a perfect world.

Either way, the depth that should be there in the 2nd is another reason why I'd be willing to accept less than a kings ransom for the 2nd.

Which is also likely the reason most teams won't be willing to give up a lot for it.

Hell yeah krizz, I'd take that deal, but need a player of need or a 2nd/3rd next year to seal da deal.. But at #12, we probably could still get Thomas, and still have our pick of 2 guys that fell out of the 1st round!!!!

There are going to be some pretty good CBs, S, TE, RB and edge rushers with 1st round grades sitting there.

We can still get Thomas at #12? No way he gets out of the top 5.

How do we KNOW we need CBs? Robinson looks like a perfect fit for this scheme. If we get a FS ward stays in the slot. We don't know what Brock will look like in this scheme and don't even know what we have in Redmond.

I think taking a CB (especially early) until we know what we got is a mistake.

Dick Sherman didn't make the scheme. The scheme made Dick Sherman.

There are always a few surprises that make it out of the first round, and now that there's a night in between, we can really get some trade value for that pick.
