Couldn't find his thread so I'll just post it here....poor Sidney Jones, looks like he may have tore his achilles. Big injury for a guy who was up there as the top corner in the class.

damn how serious are Achilles injuries? If it's bad then it's tough for him. But if he can definitely recover than I would take a flyer on him (even if it would come with ridicule because of Baalke).

That's horrible. Knee/Achilles are the two places you don't want to get hit with injury.
Really feel for him and wish him the best.
Wouldn't be going anywhere near him though unless he's still there at 6th/7th. Even then.

He won't/shouldn't play as a rookie.
Crabtree suffered one, Bowman had one last year :(
Typically when guys just drop clutching their foot it's that. Tough one to recover from especially for a position like corner.

Very hard to predict an exact timeframe too or whether or not there might be lasting effects (mental and physical).

I've torn mine before playing tennis. Took me a year and a half to recover but I'm not a world class athlete. He should be ready to return in a year. He'll probably drop to rounds 3-4.

He's gonna go much higher than that...I'd throw a comp 4th at him

Why not? He's young and you can recover from that, bow tore his this past season and sounds like he's gonna good to go for training camp.
Top 20 pick in the 4th...yes please we aren't gonna be a playoff team this upcoming yr
